H. EARLE GARVIN, E.A., M.A.A.A.,
M.S.P.A. President, Pension Financial Services
Earle Garvin is President of Pension Financial Services,
Inc. and has served in this capacity since the firm's beginning in 1982.
He is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.
Mr. Garvin received a Master's Degree in Actuarial
Science and a Master's Degree in Insurance from Georgia State University.
He is an Enrolled Actuary, certified by the Joint Board for the Enrollment
of Actuaries; a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries; a Member
of the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA); and a former Chairman
of the American Society of Pension Actuaries Benefits Council of Atlanta.
Mr. Garvin is also a member of Nationwide Financial's Partner Advisory
Board, which provides advice and feedback on private-sector retirement
plan initiatives. He is a featured speaker at many regional seminars throughout
the Southeast and has served as a panel member at various national pension
conferences.
CHRISTOPHER P. FLEMING Principal and Vice-President, New Business,
Pension Financial Services
Chris Fleming is a Principal and Vice-President of
PFS and is responsible for developing new business in addition to managing
the installation, consulting, and recordkeeping services performed by
a team of professionally trained Pension Administrators and support personnel.
Although the day-to-day plan administration activities are performed by
the Pension Administrator, Mr. Fleming provides the technical support
and supervision necessary to achieve the highest standards of qualified
plan administration in accordance with I.R.S. and D.O.L regulations and
to insure timely reporting.
Mr. Fleming has 15 years' experience in all aspects
of plan administration, including plan design, installation, and regulatory
compliance. His main area of concentration is defined contribution plans,
in particular 401(k) plans and Employee Stock Ownership Plans. Mr. Fleming
is currently enrolled in the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA)
certification program and is working towards the professional designation
of Certified Pension Consultant (CPC).
DONALD J. FLOWER Principal and Vice-President, Operations,
Pension Financial Services
Don Flower is a Principal and Vice-President of PFS
and is responsible for the firm's day-to-day operation. In addition, Mr.
Flower directly supervises the consulting and plan administration services
performed by the client servicing and consulting teams. Mr. Flower's areas
of expertise are plan design and consulting on qualified plan compliance
matters.
Mr. Flower graduated from Georgia State University
in 1985 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Actuarial
Science. He has successfully completed several of the Society of Actuaries
examinations. Mr. Flower is currently enrolled in the American Society
of Pension Actuaries (ASPA) certification program. He has completed the
Qualified Plan Administrator designation and is working towards the professional
designation of Certified Pension Consultant (CPC).
JAMES W. ENGLAND Principal and Vice-President Information
Technology, Pension Financial Services
Jim England is a Principal and Vice-President of
PFS and is responsible for the firm's sophisticated data and voice technologies.
Mr. England developed and maintains our client/participant support system
and manages our multi-server network and communications systems.
Mr. England earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics
with a concentration in Computer Science from Georgia State University.
He has over 35 years' data processing experience and has developed systems
for pensions, trust accounting, general ledger, financial modeling, and
process control as well as a complete relational data base system. Mr.
England joined PFS in 1991.
